1/2 YMCKO Color Ribbon – 400 prints / roll

Capable of printing with a 600 dpi resolution, this ribbon can print images, text or micro-text in high definition.
The inhibitor panel makes YMCKI ribbon compatible with cards with chip, magnetic stripe, signature panel and
security hologram.
Tested and validated by Evolis R&D and Quality departments, these consumables bring you printing quality and
reliability.

COMPATIBILITY AND CAPACITY ELECTRONIC KEY

Install the key before the ribbon

STORAGE INFORMATION
This ribbon shall be capable of functioning for up to 1 year after purchase, if stored in a cool, dry environment and
having remained unopened from the original packaging. Temperature of storage must be between 5-25°C (41-
77°F) and at RH between 35-65%. Once opened the ribbon shall have a lifetime of 6 months if stored under cool,
dry conditions. Avoid dust and direct sunlight. Do not place near solvent or other chemicals.

RFID SYSTEM

Delivered with Evolis Retransfer ribbons, the RFID system :
• Allows ribbon recognition
• Secures the use of the printer
• Monitors the consumable status

AVANSIA : ELECTRONIC KEY
The RFID tag is integrated in the electronic key delivered with Avansia ribbons.
The key must be installed with the corresponding ribbon
Without this key, the Avansia printer will not print.

AGILIA : RFID TAG INTEGRATED
The RFID tag is integrated into Agilia ribbons.
There is no need to install an electronic key
*Updated FW and driver are necessary to use YMCKI ribbon with AGILIA printer.

DEFINE THE AREAS FROM THE CARD TO BE SAVED UP IN THE PRINTER DRIVER.
Retransfer printing technology transfers a film containing the card design onto the card. The transfer film should
not cover a magnetic stripe or a signature panel, otherwise these elements may not be fully functional.

AGILIA : PRE DEFINED SAVING ZONES OR CUSTOM AREAS

Using YMCKI ribbon with inhibitor panel, Notransfer areas can be selected in the Evolis
Premium Suite 2 under Printer Settings – No
transfer areas:
• Preset models are available for cards with
magnetic stripe and for cards with contact chip
• Custom areas can also be designed. For instance
for one banking card with magnetic stripe and
signature panel, two non-transfer areas have to
be sized and positionned. Up to 5 different areas
can be specified.

AVANSIA : UP TO 5 DIFFERENT PARTS
ON ONE CARD
Using YMCKI ribbon with inihibitor panel, one or
more areas can be specified in Avansia driver to
prevent the transfer film being transferred to the
card.
